Lake thunderbird for sure is haunted. I’m Native American and the tribes used to live in the valley where lake thunderbird is now that’s also where the graves are. NA’s don’t mark graves so many were left when the lake was dug and the NA’s were forced to move. We are very superstitious so disturbing our dead and leaving others behind makes a lot of the elders angry and most believe the lake was cursed by family or loved ones.

In the late 80s a diver was on some good morning Oklahoma show at like five in the morning while I was getting ready for work and said he was diving by the dam at Lake Thunderbird and panned his flashlight over and thought he saw a hubcap that might have been off of a bus but then he realized that was the eye of a ginormous catfish

bro!! we swam in it all growing up. I almost drowned there when I was 9 or 10. If my uncle wouldn't have been there I would have been gone. I felt like something had me and pulled me down. we've heard about burial land being under it all growing up. 😳😳😳

did some amateur ghost hunting at Thunderbird..got some EVP's and had some weird things happen while in the woods close to little sandy beach area right behind the kids playground area . seen a glowing orb shoot through the forest and seen a person what looked like a woman walking hunched over no color just like a shadow walking,.. I definitely believe there is something in the woods that watches you at night paranormal wise ..

I was at lake thunderbird once and never again I was standing in the water with family having a cookout I went swimming then it all went into a spiral when I felt a tug not any tug but a tug on my front end something wasn’t right and i knew it I tried to resist the more I did the faster It would go before long I exploded with white goo before too long and the whole lake is nothing but white no one believed me and said i was just a gooner and I was disgusting I have nothing else too say other than DO NOT GO TOO LAKE THUNDERBIRD

There are plenty of weird things that happen in this area. Don’t let the comments from Oklahoma fool ya. There is a Bigfoot, trolls, black panthers, octopus, alligators, ghosts, a lot more. Been there my whole life
