servers make minimum wage here so I don't tip anymore.... tipping was to subsidize servers for great service while being paid minimal wage but they are even on the pay scale now

The crazy thing too is we still pay a minimum wage. In the US they pay like $3/hr so I understand the need to tip and fight for better wages.

I’m a house cleaner by trade and some people don’t tip me for cleaning their feces. Meanwhile I’m expected to tip someone for taking my coffee order lol

I tip at pretty much all minimum wage jobs. Minimum wage isn't enough to live off of. I assume coffee shops, fast food and retail make Minimum, as well as delivery drivers. Otherwise I assume they make more and I dont tip. If I can justify a 4 dollar drink, I can justify a 50 cent tip.

I think employers should pay our waitresses/waiters a fair wage. It’s not up to the client to pay your employees wage. Basically free labour for them
