@sugarspiceddreams: lemon cake loaf💛 recipe: 1/2 cup of butter(softened)(115g) 3/4 cup granulated sugar(150g) 2 RT eggs, seperated 1 1/4 tbsp lemon juice 1 tsp vanilla extract zest of 1 lemon 1/3 cup milk 1 1/4 cups of cake flour(150g) 1 tsp baking powder 1/4 tsp baking soda 1/4 tsp salt cream together your sugar & butter until fluffy. then add your 2 egg yolks, mix until combined. sift & add half of your dry ingredients & your milk, fold in until almost combined then add the rest of your dry ingredients and fold together. beat your egg whites until a stiff peak forms & add it to your batter, fold gently until just combined( try not to deflate it) bake at 350•F for 40-50 minutes. ( i doubled this recipe to fit into my pan ) lemon glaze: 1 cup powdered sugar 1 tbsp lemon juice 1 tbsp milk ( add more lemon juice if you want a more runny glaze ) #lemoncake #lemon #cake #Recipe #baking #fyp
