@Tanyarama22: UK here, generally no air con in homes, cos y’know, we don’t really need it. But pregnant in the summer, I’d just drive 15mins to IKEA, drift around in the AC, eat meatballs and Daim cake , have a lovely time- I could then sleep at night. The End.

I went to IKEA once and I will never go back. Could not find my way out, but unlike you, I was so mad that I didn’t buy a thing. True story!!!!

Don’t eat the meatballs! That’s the gateway~ to MORE scuttlebutting through the infinite showrooms. IKEA is the “upside down” for designers… Take every left and go to the bottom- that’s where the exit is~ (but buy the snacks before)
