Comet is an abrasive. it will scratch the rest of the paint. It looks kinda ok now when wet but once it dries it will look worse than it did before.

Nail polish remover. Dead a$$. I did it, learned from a detailer at car max. Small amount on a microfiber cloth.

Comet will scratch and further degrade your paint, and so will nail polish remover/acetone, and rubbing alcohol, etc. If you care about the paint - go to the auto parts store (or online) and try a clay bar and if that doesn’t work, find some actual automotive polish or rubbing compound that is purposely made for cars. Always use the least aggressive methods first.
