The people who maintain the facility (clean the bathrooms, take out the trash, etc) are just as important. Introduce yourself to them, know their names, say good morning, say thank you.

Dont be embarrassed or scared to show interest in different roles within the place you intern with and dont be afraid to say you want a job there when you graduate.

Memorize everyone’s names you meet and then say hi (name) the next time you see them - it’s such a strong move and bc they probably forgot your name and now will ask again and try to remember it too and then everyone will know your name

Say Hi to EVERYONE. Every DAY. They will all notice. Bring snacks, be friendly. No one notices the quiet intern. Also, interns aren't expected to do amazing. So just be present, the bar is on the ground for you guys

Don’t wait around for someone to hand you a task. Assert yourself. show how committed you are to your work. then, when the internship is over, you leave with as many as letter of recommendations as possible.

if someone asks u to do something that is not in ur job scope via email..make sure cc your boss or manager or sv etc so that they know who delivered that task and you will get noticed 😊

Look up the full time position they’re hiring for and take notes of the responsibilities and qualifications section. Then ask your manager for tasks that include those responsibilities or will help you develop the skills they want for that full time position.
