You two are an hour and half from Grants Pass, Oregon. Go ride the jet boats at Hellgate. It's so fun and you will get to see the Rogue River and it's beauty up close.

I'm in Redmond South of Bend, don't stop in Bend, keep going to Terrebonne about a 40min drive. Follow the road to SMITH ROCK. People come from all over to see it. It's a huge cannon you can hike. Absolutely beautiful!! Plus a workout for you guys.

It’s not closed. The north entrance is closed. South is not. Drive west on Hwy 138. Take a left on Hwy 230, then left onto Hwy 62 up to the entrance. You’re welcome. And only the boat tours will be closed for the next 3 years. The park will be open.

The lake is not closing. Just a trail you can take to swim in it. Also go to the other entrance you can get in. The north entrance is closed from October to July.

The south and west entrances are open year-round. There’s going to be some construction to fix up some trails and stuff.

Crater Lake is not entirely closing, but access to the lake's shoreline, via the Cleetwood Cove Trail, will be closed for construction starting in 2026 and lasting until the summer of 2029. This closure is necessary to rehabilitate the trail and marina, including replacing the failed bulkhead/dock, improving the trail tread, and addressing safety issues like rockfall.

The park’s West and South Entrances, along with the road to Rim Village, remain open year-round, though conditions may be icy or snowy, especially in winter. The 33-mile Rim Drive, which circles the lake, is typically closed to vehicles from the first major snowstorm or November 1 (whichever comes first) until late June or early July, depending on snowmelt.

You guys should drive to Columbia River Gorge. That place is home to many waterfalls like Multnomah falls and many many more.If you guys go, check Oneonta falls and check if it's already open coz the last time the trail to get to the falls was closed due to the fire.
