Men and women are mirrors of each other — both crave love, but our primary needs often differ. Research in relationship psychology shows women tend to feel most secure when they have emotional safety and connection. Men often feel most loved through physical affection and admiration. When we understand these differences, we can love each other in the way the other needs — not just the way we want to give it

PURA Update As the regulator, PURA is here to protect all players in the telecom market. 📊 Our market surveillance shows that the current low data tariffs are promotions — and by PURA’s tariff guidelines, promotions should not last more than 2 months. ⏳ After promotions, companies are duty bound to return to their original tariffs: Burama Jammeh (Director of Economic Regulation, PURA): Let me make this clear from the beginning: cheap data that does not work is no victory for consumers. Over the past months, we witnessed a race-to-the-bottom among operators, dropping data prices to unsustainable levels. While at first, consumers welcomed these steep price cuts, the reality quickly surfaced—congested networks, slow internet, dropped calls, and poor coverage, especially outside urban centers. Our responsibility as a regulator is to intervene when the market fails. The price floor of GMD 50 per GB is not about protecting companies from competition, but about ensuring that prices remain affordable while operators are still able to invest in quality networks. To put it in perspective, the African average stands at about USD 1 per GB, equivalent to GMD 71. The GMD 50 floor represents about 70% of that benchmark, adjusted for Gambian realities. This ensures operators cover their costs, reinvest in infrastructure, and continue to expand access—while safeguarding consumers from deteriorating services. Africell: D130/GB QCell: D130/GB Others: around the same ✅ Industry average: D106/GB 👉 Gambians should understand these are promotional rates, not permanent prices. #PURA #Telecom #Gambia #StayInformed #africell #comiumgambia #qcell #camcel #gambian_tiktok🇬🇲🇬🇲 #Journalist
