Yes I can explain that… I cannot go to funerals or huge triggering emotions excitement. Avoidants run or pull away during big moments because deep emotions feel overwhelming.. These events trigger vulnerability, and their nervous system sees that as danger, not connection. It triggers deep overwhelm, discomfort, or even shame. These events demand emotional presence.

Yes!!! 💯 They can’t stand the achievement isn’t them they get very jealous & envious it’s very much narcissistic traits. You just don’t get it at the time but once you detach from them you see it all. Xmas birthdays etc always ruined by his big ego moodiness. He hated Xmas etc so miserable.

Yooo never wanna let you shine . I remember skating in front of him the first time I love to skate he never was admired by my fav hobby . Or the time when I had a mixtape release and he came but played the background didn’t bug me up as if we wasn’t hunching . On my bday in April he was gone when it turned 12am smh I know better now

this never happened to me. maybe what you're talking about is more for a dismissive avoid? My FA was always supportive except in as much as she slept all weekend every weekend for about 2 years and couldn't make it to any of my functions, but that doesn't sound at all like what you're talking about.
