@sustainablefashionfriend: Where tf is Dressed in Lala getting their clothes? You won’t find where they source from on their website…and you won’t even find an “About Us” or “About the Brand” page either. As I was completely new too the brand I was hoping to see a few values to get the vibe? But nope lol. Anyways, they don’t mention anything about sustainability, which I was expecting that. But there’s going to be a lot of words like “quality” and “thoughtfully designed” thrown around the site. Has anyone bought from them that can attest to the quality?? Anyways, from what I could gather they are connected to Dongguan Better Garment Co in China. They have multiple shipments that can be tracked between their facilities. This supplier has a yearly production rate of 2 million pieces. Other figures were giving around 300,000 pieces per month! With lead times of 7 days for samples and 30-45 days for bulk orders. They do OEM (you design it, they make it) and ODM (They design it, you brand it). I also looked through some TikTok videos and found Jerzees and Gillian boxes which could possibly indicate that they receive their blanks from these companies. Also, Gildan really loves to source from Central America…?? That’s a whole other topic for me to look into. #fastfashion #dressedinlala #sustainablefashionfriend #investigation #buybetter #research #sourcing

Just so everyone knows Emy Ave is a Trump supporter. I know many people are trying to be aware of where they spend theie money. I was so disappointed to see her following all the Trump accounts after the election. She seems to have unfollowed them but is still following other MAGA accounts.

I’m shocked they’re still around after all the drama they caused about their customers creating BST groups on Facebook (because you can’t return anything apparently?) Ontop of the high price for fast fashion.

Feel like they’ve changed a lot over the years. I bought some stuff from them in their early days and genuinely liked the clothes and the drops were small. Felt like they were doing something different. But the prices kept going up and the quality way down. Unfollowed and unsubscribed a while back — feels like they lost the plot and are full fast fashion.

There was also crazy stuff with a designer for the brand not getting credit and then just fired, you should look into

I do love my cardigans and sets but honestly I just don’t like supporting anymore after the entire debacle she created by removing the BST fb groups and took away coupon codes :(

Pro tip: you can screenshot images and put it in Alibaba search. Works really well for jewelry brands because the suppliers almost ALWAYS sells the design to other people. 😎 I have yet to see a jewelry brand that wasn’t on Alibaba lol! Regardless of how “original” the design is.

I’ve bought a few items from them and the quality did not meet the price point, you’re definitely paying for the design/uniqueness and not a great quality garment

Can you look into Damson Madder next please? I get the feeling that they are cutting corners but perpetuating themselves as being an ethical clothing brand🙏❤️

I would love to hear you talk about Big Bud Press! There’s been a lot of conversation about whether or not it can still be considered slow fashion, and I’d love to hear your thoughts!
