@alexandralevyinteriors: Yup, I dyed glass with alcohol ink… and baked it in the oven. 🙈 Sounds wild, but the results completely transformed this chandelier and made it look so high end! 🙌✨ Comment “shop” for the products I used and save this if you’re feeling bold enough to try it. 😘 I found a super affordable chandelier and customized the crystals to perfectly match the moody vibe of our new living room. It was surprisingly simple and made the entire fixture feel luxe and intentional! 😍 Here’s how I did it: • Apply alcohol ink (color of choice) using a sponge • Place the crystals in a cool oven (don’t preheat) • Set the oven to 350°F and let the crystals warm up gradually • Once it reaches 350°F, turn the oven off • Let them sit inside for 30 minutes • Then allow them to cool in the oven for another 20 minutes before removing 👏IMPORTANT: The slow heating and cooling helps prevent cracking and sets the color beautifully. Just go slow and be careful with the glass. Stay tuned as a tackle two more of these for our next project coming soon!!🎉 #designhack #alcoholinkDIY #chandelierupgrade #moodyinteriors #budgetluxury #alexandralevyinteriors #hometransformation
