Personally I like the idea of mounting it under the intake and tucking it in close,like you had it at the end of the video. Gives it a cleaner look.

You could do a pull through turbo, that way you don’t need an intercooler because the fuel cools the air going into the engine

I would say wherever you could mount it with the least amount of air resistance would have the most power. cooler air ofc is a consideration but with an intercooler thats not really a problem

other side of the engine will have a lot more room and just reroute the exhaust from the stock manifold, saves some money and keeps heat away from the intake.

Under the intake would definitely be the easiest best looking and most efficient, the only way you can get away from heat is moving the exhaust under the motor to the other side and that’s just going to heat up your oil pan or transmission and the lag would be terrible

Rear mount the turbo under the bed. The longer pipes help cool the air. Some mount near the spare tire carrier.
