I have one tooth that was root canaled and personally had no issues. BUT please make sure you have a good dentist doing it because yes bad things can occur

Once you lose your tooth, you lose the bone around it. Which will start to affect the teeth around it. If you can afford it get the rct. Just make sure it someone who knows what theyre doing.

Definitely get a second opinion before getting a root canal. I went in to a dentist who told me I needed a root canal, I was in no pain, just broke a tooth I thought. Went to a second dentist and they filled it as a cavity. 7 years later and it’s still good. And it was much cheaper!

root canals aren’t bad honestly just bring headphones with music and it’ll be a little better. the noises can be intimidating sometimes

Why are all these people saying don’t get a root canal?! My first one was 10 years ago… it is still going strong. My other the crown just cracked but it’s doing fine. Just going to recap.

I got a root canal, had a severe infection from it failing & had to be on antibiotics for over 20 days & ended up getting it pulled. The pain & price for a root canal was not worth it 😭😭😭
