I would never say I was board in the 80'/90's. My parents always had a list of chores if I did 🤐 LOL So I always have a list ready if my kids say it 😂... they dont say it anymore 😏

I have always said ‘nothing to do, nothing to do, put some mustard in your shoe’ it’s not my job to fix your boredom & life has boring times so learn to deal .. it’s a great response!

I’m GenX and my mom was a teacher. If I said I was bored, she pretty much was like, “ok, choose to be bored then. Or figure something out.” So o figured it out: I read, or colored, or went outside.
