My sausage dog started choking once on a piece of kibble, I had to pick him up, hold him upside down & shake him hard until it came flying out! Never been so scared in my life…I actually thought I was going to lose him

My dog was choking once, I used all the alternatives, finally I used the gravity one, and it split out all the food which was choking her (remembered that I saved a picture about methods of helping your dog while choking)

I remember my chihuahua getting something stuck in his throat and I had to lay down my arm and tip him downwards while patting his back 🥺

thank you for the disclaimer on not stressing your dog out more by panicking, a lot of these tutorials skip over that but I feel like it should be said more since a lot of owners don't understand how much their dogs pick up on their language

my corso loged a ball in his throat, went quiet and layed hunched on the couch. i panicked and went straight to the heimleich. worst 30 seconds until he spat it out
