because it was the 2000s when people were sharing their culture earnestly to try to unite the world before it was over commidified

What happened to sharing culture? Why is it looked at as stealing or rude?
It's called appreciation of different cultures. Only time it's disrespectful and is if they wear it and make fun of it. Like wearing it as Halloween costume, "acting" like that culture and stuff that shows their disrespecting the culture.
It's not stealing the culture when you're appreciating it...
Music is also inspired by many cultures across the world. As long as people keep telling each other about their culture and others, we will always remember what culture it belongs to.
When I say sharing culture, I don't mean making it a part of another culture, but telling ppl about ur culture and letting other appreciate it.

I'm glad they don't debut now as people are so sensitive and so offended about everything now especially westerners. I really miss the era when kpop was only popular among Koreans and asians.. now that the westerners listen to kpop, everything really needs to be taken care of.. so many unnecessary sensitive and offensive remarks being pointed out when it is not that big of a deal mostly...
