Soak the pin that goes through the ball with a penetrating oil then if you can go from underneath and hit the top of the ball to push it up with a hammer the ball should just freely move there is no handle the plate that flips up holds it in place once up.

had to use a loaded and a strap to get it out cause wd40 and heat weren't doing it. picked up the whole back of the truck and shook it to get it to break loose

Hook one side of the ratchet strap to the bed and the other side to the ball then tighten the strap then the ratchet strap will pull it out

Had this happen to mine a while ago the plate you lift up to uncover the ball should have a little kicker on the bottom to push the ball try kicking that plate or hitting it

I have the same style in my truck just spray a shit load of wd-40 on the sides of ball at the base and use the pry bar to roll the ball upwards your half way there with the cover up use a pivot method vs pulling on it with a strap it’ll put more force on the ball and roll it towards the passager side of the truck
