@scibodytherapy: Replying to @🇨🇦 I’m not sure why you think human development is so simple. But there’s plenty you don’t know. Let’s talk about complete androgen insensitivity syndrome. #learnontiktok #EduTok #anatomy #Science #medical #testosterone
Unfortunately, the men in suits to sit in Congress and all of these places that make rules believe that everything is black-and-white

Please remember that human development is complicated and messy. And stuff that you don’t think can happen probably does. 🥰

I feel the same way about pregnancy. People want to see it as this perfect clean process but it's not, and miscarriages are so incredibly common. Creating a human is messy and often imperfect.

it's so weird people think genitalia don't develop in different ways ever, while nothing else in the body develops perfectly always in everyone

So wouldn't that kind of mean that intersex is technically the "default" , just wondering 😅😅😅

Every one of these guys start their statements of “fact” with, “In high school biology I learned…,” as if that qualifies them as an expert. Like dude. In high school band I learned the blues scale, but that don’t make me BB King.

Thank you for further informing people! It’s painfully telling when people haven’t taken a single anatomy and physiology course, yet become very bold when the topic turns to genitalia formation

I tried to explain Kleinfelters to father of a boy and he seemed to be unimpressed with the explanation. He didn’t seem to believe in chromosomal mistakes. Said god wouldn’t do that.

I get what you are saying but… your source NIH.gov, also mentioned that the condition you are focusing on is 0.002% to 0.005% well into the outlier’s realm. So yes, while possible, extremely improbable

Why are people in comments "correcting" people who WENT RO SCHOOL AND COLLEGE about the topic at hand?????
can we normalize telling people to listen and learn?

Being pregnant has forced me to learn so much about genetics and it’s mind boggling. My husband has chromosomal translocation. I apparently have two mutations that SHOULD have given me spinal atrophy but I don’t have a third mutation, so I’m fine. But I have other mutations??? Our genetics are so complex, way beyond 6th grade science class.
