MSM has a lot to do with it. I'm white, raised by two loving, church-going parents and both were racist to a degree. My sisters and I went to a predominantly white high school so the only knowledge we had of the black population came from watching the nightly news and the top stories. Those stories ALWAYS were about one black person killing enough. Night after night we watched and the stories never changed. Reporting is one thing, sensationalizing is another. We became fearful because of what we saw each night. Another way to pit one group against another so those in power can continue to accumulate more $$
