Hey girlie pop! Piercer here it’s definitely a floating navel and yes, most people who’s naval collapses need floating navels , I would suggest a shorter bar for you to avoid snagging but it looks great

Well I have flat belly button and got my navel ring at 18years old and my heal just fine!! I still have my hole til this day 20 years later, but I did notice when gained weight it was more irritating!!
