@sheengurrib: Why does Allah keep telling women in the Qur’an: “Do not be sad”? These aren’t just verses. They’re divine hugs. Mercy in the form of words. 📖 In Surah Al-Qasas: “So that her eyes may be comforted and she may not grieve.” (28:13) 📖 In Surah Al-Ahzab: “That their eyes may be comforted and they may not grieve.” (33:51) 📖 In Surah Maryam: “Do not grieve.” (19:24) 📖 And again, in Surah Al-Qasas: “Do not fear and do not grieve.” (28:7) Again and again… Don’t be sad. Don’t be afraid. Why? Because your sadness is not small in the eyes of your Lord. Grief in a woman isn’t just a tear. It’s a wave— that hits her body, her health, her smile, her sleep, her soul. And Ar-Rahman knows this. That’s why He speaks so gently to women in the Qur’an. Not just to ease our minds— But to protect our hearts. Even for mothers, He says: “Do not even say ‘uff’ to them.” (17:23) Because words leave bruises, and her heart is soft— but her worth is beyond measure. So if you’re reading this, with a storm behind your ribs, and tears that fall in silence— remember this: Your sadness matters to Allah. Your pain is seen. And your healing is near. “Do not grieve.” He says it not for Himself— but so you remember: You are not alone. May Allah mend every heartbreak, especially those breaking in silence.
