Laparoscopy scheduled in a few weeks but they also put me on progesterone. I want my period gone but this is miserable. I get intense joint pain from birth control

I have reaction to oral contraception so it has been hell for me and after full hysterectomy can take any hormones either and I’m sicker then I ever been…. 😢🤗

Just to be clear: hormonal contraceptives and hormonal suppressants can be a lifeline for many people with endometriosis. I’m not saying they’re harmful or useless. I’m raising awareness that, despite these options, there’s still no real solution or cure for this condition — and that needs to change
