@yanlexir: I used to not care about mental health growing up, and I never took it seriously. In my mind, when I was younger, caring about these kinds of emotions felt “feminine.” But as I grew older, those words I once said came back to haunt me. The emotions I had ignored actually mattered—a lot. I wasn’t the type of person who opened up easily to others. Whenever someone asked if I was okay, I would just lie and say that I was. Between 2022 and 2024, a lot of problems surfaced. I felt overwhelmed by so many emotions. On top of that, I was also dealing with health issues. One day during that time, everything I had been working so hard for vanished. My dream—my vision for my life—was taken away from me. That moment sent me into a downward spiral. I felt numb and depressed. I remember thinking to myself, “I wish I didn’t exist,” “I wish I was gone,” and “I wish I could end it all right now.” Ever since that day, I’ve struggled with self-doubt and have had trouble appreciating the effort I put into things—even now, I sometimes still feel that way. The thought of waking up and losing everything I had built is something that deeply scarred me. But slowly, I’ve been recovering—thanks to my partner, my family, and my friends. It’s okay to feel these kinds of emotions. Everything is going to be all right. Take a break if you need to—your progress won’t vanish, I promise. Better days will come, and bad days will pass. But don’t let the hard days discourage you. Sometimes, there are things in life that we simply can’t control. Be patient and keep moving forward. Your hard work will pay off as long as you stay committed. Don’t compare yourself to others. Focus on yourself and your goals. And please, don’t shoulder your problems alone or bottle up your emotions. Reach out to someone you love and tell them how you truly feel. I’m currently studying Psychology, and hopefully, in the future, I’ll be able to help young men who have faced similar struggles. Because of your support, my dream is coming back to life. Thank you. I love you all.
