To give you more hope…I went through 3 sets of scans over 4 months and my tumor kept doubling in size each time until it finally blew up and died. There’s a battle going on inside to save you. That’s how it went for me. Scary being in that battle though. Stay strong.

I would go to a different hospital network and act like you have no idea what’s going on and refuse contrast. Have them rescan and re-diagnosis

Sometimes a tumor increases in size before it dies. It’s an immune reaction. I can’t say this is definitely what’s going on with you but it’s a possibility.

The radiologists and doctors looking at the CT can tell the difference between tumour and fluid. The cancer is cells replicating uncontrollably, starving or not. The body doesn't know how to circumvent a tumour or else we would never need any treatment 🥺. let the doctors help you.

I’m a nurse that’s worked with oncology patients and also believes in holistic care in general. I’m getting certified in holistic nursing. I also don’t trust a lot of the healthcare system in the US. But a lot of what you’re saying is biologically just false. People that don’t go to school for medical care simply don’t have all the understanding on how these things work in the body. I love that you’re wanting to be holistic but don’t discredit all of the decades of real research that have saved lives. Cancer is very complicated. Simply not eating isn’t going to get rid of it. Your body also needs fuel to fight it. In my professional opinion, it’s best to combine modern medicine and alternative/holistic approaches. Stay strong. Mindset is a big factor too! When you’re not eating your digestive system slows down so there’s less food being broken down, which means less gas production, less stool bulk and less intestinal distension. This can relieve pressure near a tumor, especially in the colon where tumors can partially block the passage of stool or gas. Without food constantly moving through, there’s less traffic pushing against the tumor site but the tumor is still there. Please get treatment.

I'm stage 4 with Colon cancer too. I did not do well with one round of chemo. I was able to get in a clinical trial. I was able to keep a positive mindset. I trusted my medical team. I have faith. I'm still here today because of it! I admire your strength. Please consider the possibility of accepting some sort of medical intervention and maybe a second opinion. Stay positive and strong
