![Tucked away in the backstreets behind Aldgate Station, you’ll stumble across a little gem: @Eat The Damn Cake LDN 🧁 Here, they’re serving up an irresistible lineup of cupcakes, cookies, and some seriously sippable drinks. We tried: • Raspberry & Tonka Bean Cupcake • Sticky Toffee Cupcake • Pistachio & White Chocolate Cookie • Vanilla Matcha Let’s start with the cupcakes. The raspberry & tonka bean one was a dream - super light, cloud-like sponge with a luscious topping that sat somewhere between whipped cream and buttercream. It was delicious! The pistachio and white chocolate cookie caught me off guard - in the best way. I wasn’t expecting to love it this much! The pistachio and white chocolate combo is always a winner and this cookie was no exception. It was perfectly balanced and honestly it was massive, I had to split it with my sister. As for the vanilla matcha, while I wouldn’t call myself a matcha expert, this one was smooth, creamy, and it works really well with the sweet treats on offer. Not into matcha? No need to worry as the drinks menu has plenty of other options. Eat The D*mn Cake is just around the corner from Petticoat Lane Market, so next time you’re grabbing lunch, pop in for a treat.
