I adore my daughter's pediatrician and she constantly reminds me to "feed the baby not the freezer!" It helped me stop obsessing over having a freezer stash and to regulate my supply to stop overproducing!

So many of us moms HAVE to feed the freezer as well because we work and have no choice but to put our babies in daycare. I was an over supplier in the beginning and got prepped for daycare. Being an oversupplier was not fun. Clogged ducts are painful.

Social media made me feel like I wasn’t producing enough. Which then stressed me out causing me to not produce enough & I always felt like my baby was hungry which caused me to stress more 🥲 so I ended my journey earlier than I wanted 😔

As an oversupplier the clogged ducts and mastitis is brutal. I’m currently trying to get my supply down from 50 to 25 oz. If you’re making 25-30 that’s NORMAL AND HEALTHY

I breastfed AND pumped around the clock and it was the best thing i did for my baby and I. Nobody needs a supply but if you want one that is ok too! I’m so blessed for my supply bc it’s what’s feeding my baby now.

I honestly don’t even care anymore. If I lose my supply I’m grateful for the time I was able to breastfeed and happy that formula exists as a backup plan

When I had an oversupply my baby ate LESS because she had such a hard time nursing. She choked on the fast flow.
