Use a normal scraper and slowly move the steamer and put the scraper behind it and it will come off easily

Get a paint brush or roller and put a coat of wallpaper paste over it all, 10mins after it will all peel off easy. Been doing it all day today

score the paper then wet the whole wall (brush + walm water) wait 5 min and wet again and repete until the paper comes off easily with the scraper.

The secret is never let the plate leave the wall. Slide it to the next area while you’re stripping the softened area. Also stops room becoming a massive sauna

Had to strip a glossed staircase with 4 layers of paper & gloss paint on each layer. took me & my dad 6 days back in the 80s before steam strippers were readily available.

if that's just paint, scrape it of with a blade don't steam it, it will crack plaster behind then you'll have to repair them

Score the wallpaper, mix washing up liquid and water in a spray bottle and drench the wall, wait a while then scrape. If that dosent work forst time respray it xx
