I’m just back from a solo trip walking the coastal path in Northumberland…. Had my 2 small dogo’s with me… we walked 74 miles in 7 days… loved it so much and on a bit of a downer now we home…

OMG I’ve watched Shirley literally hundreds of times and usually if I’m feeling down, low, fed up or any combination of them I put it on! I find most of it very uplifting but the beginning part especially how she describes losing herself makes me cry. My family disappear when I put it on. I say book yourself a holiday and go …. one day I’m doing it!! Good luck lovely 🥰❤️Can’t wait to hear all about it if you go on your adventure xx

My Mom loved that film, it absolutely inspired her! I’m in the same boat this year not having anyone to go on holiday with and have been toying with a solo holiday! But need to pluck up the courage to go for it! One day maybe. X

Funny, I was one click away from booking a solo holiday earlier today - not clicked it yet. I don’t mind being on my own, just scared of doing the whole thing - travel, airports, security, transfers - with no moral support 😱
