having an autistic son, this bothers me. I am neurodivergent, introverted, socially awkward, but I don't feel right saying autistic. I think they need to come up for a new diagnosis for us quirky, very high functioning people.

Think it's called maladaptive day dreaming. my daughter does that. It's interesting how people treat high masking individuals, especially if they think they're like successful or attractive. Everyone's like "yeah right" or "whatever" if they try to share it!
