It was maybe from the mixed DP Tour event last year, year before? where the ladies did tee up from the front tees and the men from the back tees. One hole there was about 150 yards difference. Good info here tho 💪

Par 5s sometimes affect the data. Eg 4 par 5s 6400. 6200 mens course probably 2 par 5s. They do play shorter. This is like the gender pay gap. Not really true but let’s pretend

I played in the same team as a now LET pro. She played against the guys, off the same tees. She was the second best golfer in the team, second only to a now PGA tour winner.

Pro women play shorter tees. Not front tees obviously. I've never played with LPGA players but I have with LET players and we are pretty equal from same tee. I'm not saying a zero hcp player would beat top players from LPGA but there are thousands and thousands of decent male amateur players who would do great in a LPGA event from the same tees.

I played a tournament in turkey this year and men had to play from the white tees and the women from the reds ,this gave the women an unfair advantage.my opinion women should be from the yellow in mixed tournaments.

Not sure where the men’s elite yardage information fo comes from.. take this weekend ,7171yds at St Andrew Links. East of Ireland open Co Louth at 7000+. I don’t think there is WAGR event played on anything that short in England.

Looking through the threads I cannot believe how many have obviously never attended a ladies tournament, have absolutely no idea how a course is set up and have no idea how WHS is used to apply the correct handicaps based on tee sets.

The women normally play men’s normal tees. Not the competition tees. I agree with a lot of the comments, they play a game that is a lot more comparable to what the average golfer can aspire to. They play with skill rather than the power of the male pros

My dad always said if you want to improve your swing as an average amateur man, watch the pro women. Their swing is what you should aim for(although you’ll never get that good). My dad knew golf, even if I didn’t want to listen to him because sons don’t. I miss him every day

West lancs golf club major comps are played from 7016 yards and that's handicapped golf.The majority of UK courses are 6000- 6500 yards from the back tees.I would back a LPGA golfer against a scratch.

LPGA players smoke scratch golfers 9.9 times out of 10. They are top tier quality, some of the most perfect swings are on the LPGA tour
