You need to try “nazareno” alfajores. My south Africa fiancé loves them. Also he don’t like the dry cookies, but this one are more like a cake texture

Not all alfajores are dry, you should try one from a more handcrafted place, here in Cordoba Argentina we have La Paila which makes THE best alfajores cordobeses and alfajores in general (other stuff too)

Not all alfajores are the same, some provinces have their own way to make alfajores like alfajor Santafesino. I don't like Rasta so much either, I prefer normal chocolate Havanna (which is kinda expensive but top tier) or Fantoche Triple, you should try those too.

alfajores are the best, the cookie thing just depends on the brand some are super soft, like Havanna or Jorgito. I’m Argentinian btw

The best snack in Argentina is probably an Alfajor (the debate is which brand and type) so if you don't like it, you will never find "the best snack" of the country.
