I did it on mine using a jumper wire from the two pins on the connector then using the key fob press the buttons and it syncs them

these trucks did come factory with fobs. you can get a pair of them off Amazon for $20-$30 and it works. I did it to my 95.

Buy the factory key fob off the web and use a paper clip. That’s exactly what I did with my 96 mustang cobra! And it worked perfectly.

Damn all I had to do was turn the ignition 8 time on and off and on the 8th make sure it’s in the run position and I just push the buttons in the key fob and it worked for me 😂
