as an esthetician I tell people this all the time. especially when you have active and cystic acne. a good ph balancing toner and hyaluronic acid serum is key to drowining the clogged pores and minimizing them so that nothing can fill them with dirt and debris 🥰

My favorite toner since i was in middle school is the trader joes rose water toner, i also use pure aloe vera gel on top and my brightening serum from good molecules

This just confirmed my toner pads and toner are the reason my skin is thriving. I always notice when I don’t have a toner for a few weeks my skin starts acting up but not bad it’s just not as clear and smooth as before.
