and the inmigración process is so expensive too. $4500 for just the lawyer, almost $3000 for the. Treasury and whatever fines they want after that . I’m still paying my lawyer so my things get filed. It’s so hard to save for this and to feed out families.

I had more of a sense of connection and community in the short time I studied and lived in Guadalajara than anywhere I have lived in the US. People were kind and they cared and shared there, here that is so hard to find.
