This restaurant made a brave decision to protect their space and staff by expressing discomfort with armed officers inside the dining area—especially during a time when police and ICE actions have traumatized so many in the immigrant and service communities here in San Francisco. Let’s be real: refusing guns in a peaceful brunch space isn’t anti-police—it’s pro-safety. In fact, it’s exactly the kind of boundary-setting more businesses need to be able to do without being harassed. Now, white protesters are literally standing outside trying to intimidate customers and stop people from coming in. It’s giving Gestapo vibes. These folks clearly stand with ICE, police brutality, and Trump-like bullying—not with justice. To everyone who values dignity, safety, and the right to create welcoming spaces—come eat here. Remember, it’s 10 citizens to every one police officer. We are in control not them just because they got guns. Doesn’t mean they’re in control. There’s 10 people to every cop realize that and use that to your advantage.
