The airline shouldn’t allow seat switching. It shouldn’t be up to the passenger to have to DEFEND their seat while the flight crew look away.

Oh hell no. I always pay extra to sit where I want to sit and would not give up my seat unless I was upgraded to first class for free

I paid for first class a few years ago and a man came on with an economy seat and stopped to TELL ME he has anxiety and I should switch with him because there was no first class when he went to book, I let him know that the seat cost me around 1k and if he had cash, I definitely would but he said no, he didn't have the $,cash or otherwise, well, how would you have booked 1st class if you didn't have the $$ for it?? I told him no thank you, he was actually angry at ME??! oh well, I had a nice comfy flight, regardless of his anxiety 😏

I have anxiety starting weeks before flying, I hate it and I always pay to get the window, I would NEVER move, I would freak out more with 2 people squished next to me on top of my anxiety. I don’t mind helping others but in this situation, I just wouldn’t.

I want everyone to know that if I pay for the seat seat that I want I’m not switching seats because you know why I paid for the seat well in advance so if you want to sit together, buy your seats well in advance
