Silco wasn't a perfect parent, but he definitely loved and cared for Jinx. Though he cared more about her physical health than her injuries/mentality. He accepted her for who she was, but he wanted her to be a strong, independent girl who could stand up for herself. He raised her the way she needed to survive in Zaun. And he succeeded. Yes, he manipulates her often and claims that they were all handed over, but this is something he truly believes. He was betrayed and tried to be killed by someone he considered a brother. This is certainly a traumatic event. He himself only trusts Jinx and Seivika, the latter with a stretch. Silco never considered himself a good person, but we know that he was a good father. Not only loving, but also good and caring.
