I love the outdoor chalkboard idea because I live in AZ and the concrete gets so during the summer months that you can get burned.

You have to “prime” the chalkboard! You cover the whole thing with chalk then dust it off! It’ll work and erase much better! The best way to do it is using the chalk horizontally so it will cover faster and easier!!

We added a mailbox we painted all cute to keep all the chalk in next to the board. The mail box keeps the chalk dry & easy for them to take in & out!

I got in trouble in 4th grade for drawing them aswell, I said it was a dragon..... I wouldn't have gotten in trouble if the "not all there" kid didnt draw it too and take it to the teacher.
