He took ownership of his bad decision. That’s a great start. I’ve bought food for people who thought about stealing. I watched them looking around and said that’s a bad idea. They decided to leave, I talked to them outside, told them what the consequences were, that their parents would have to leave work to mail them out, and asked them if that was worth it
