Closet confession… I came to the realization that I might have a teeny little clothing problem… It was that darn room! It made me sweat, it made me cry, and now it had put a magnifying glass on an issue I have not wanted to admit. I get way too attached to my clothes! At first, when I started losing weight, my excuse was, “Well…if the weight comes back on, I’ll need those clothes.” But I have maintained this weight for two years. So I purged. Three contractor bags full. Not the flimsy black bags either. The thick ones you could line your pool with! That bought me some time… Then the closet started to get tight again. Now I discovered that the plastic tube hangers were the issue. They were too thick! So I invested a small fortune in the slim velour hangers and proudly announced to Hubby, “See? I didn’t need fewer clothes…I needed thinner hangers!” I was feeling pretty proud of myself. And here we are again. Two closets jam-packed. Everything fits me . And the hangers are already skinny.
