As someone who is friends with those refs in those travel leagues, they purposely don’t call things so the game can end in a timely manner. Some of them have even admitted to purposely not calling things due to coaches or parents mouths.

Refs always get disrespected in all sports. It's one of the hardest thing to do because there's so many moving parts. With no Refs there's no games. Just accept they'll be blown calls and in reality if one blown calls loses you the game. . . .you're not that good, work harder

The ref should have gave that team a technical foul due to the parents. These parents be too much. Your team sucks do better, it’s really that simple. Juancarlos team has been smoke like a 20 pt lead. Do better baby, that’s it. I can’t stand those parents.

I ran a league before and I had to ref a kids game it was l alot more difficult than people make it out to be... I played college basketball I know the game

HS girls varsity coach in Massachusetts. If abuse of refs doesn’t stop there won’t be any refs. Please be respectful to the refs. It shouldn’t be hard to do.

Aau basketball refs are hands down the worst people to ref a game. Dude ref my daughter game with his hoody fully pulled tight lol also the ref is not right .. he gets paid to be a ref it’s not hard 2 of them and didn’t see the one person who has the ball travel. Regardless of if he’s mad or not he needs to do his job. I don’t agree with the parents but wouldn’t be all this talking if the ref was normally and I assure you he is bad because it’s probably a ZG tournament and they are all bad

Tournaments have become money grabs. they need to do more to run the tournaments. someone should have spoken to the fans before it got to that level. 🤔
