Atlantic tuna have such powerful muscles, that occasionally on the end of a fisherman's line, they move so forcefully for so long they cook themselves, known as 'burn' by fishermen

Quinnth3eskimo :
The largest tuna ever recorded was an Atlantic bluefin tuna caught off Nova Scotia, Canada, in 1979 by Ken Fraser, weighing 1,496 pounds. The average swimming speed of a tuna varies by species. Yellowfin tuna, for example, can reach speeds up to 75 km/h (47 mph). Atlantic bluefin tuna can swim up to 43 mph (69 km/h). Generally, tuna are built for speed, with some species capable of bursts between 60-80 km/h (37-50 mph) due to their streamlined bodies.

But you find yourself in the ocean, a 20 ft wave, I’m assuming its off the coast of South Africa, coming up against a full grown, 800 lb tuna with his 20 or 30 friends. You lose that battle. you lose that battle nine times out of ten.

Tuna aren't just big, they are the roid heads of the ocean. It's absolutely WILD the ammount of power a Bluefin tuna can generate. If they get REALLY stressed and into It, their muscles produce enough heat to kill themselves
