Happened to me at self checkout, the dude screamed he had 100,000$ on his card. So my manager took him to another register and it worked. Card readers are tricky folks!

I hate when people do that over their card declining. My response now is always we tried it several times I am not to sure why its not working. My suggestion would be to give your bank a call.

Worked at a retirement home and a guy that’s just moved in didn’t realize the food in the dining hall was free so when I told him he didn’t have to pay, he thought I called him poor🥲

at my first job I was brand new and I working at the register. this woman comes in requesting extra crispy chicken. we were out but a new batch would be ready momentarily. she screams at me about how I don't know how to do my job and why wouldn't we have what she wants when she wants it. my manager came running from the office because she heard the yelling and basically tore her a new one for screaming at me and she left. I definitely went to the bathroom and cried for a minute because what the hell?! all this over extra crispy chicken?!
