I wanted about a 6 inch long tattoo and he completely gaslit me into s smaller version saying i wouldn’t be able to handle that much of pain and forgot a major part of the piece which I didn’t notice until it was too late

I had an artist go to shake up black ink and didnt cover the top all the way and covered me, him and the roof, walls, floors chairs... everything was covered in black ink.

not very crazy but my step brother has a misspelled tattoo on his forearm from me because it was late ASF and I didn't realize the stencil my dad made was misspelled so I accidentally tattooed "beacause" on his arm 😐

First tat was at a biker shop I was 15 I literally said ow one time and he snapped at me saying I was a b … meanwhile im 35 and the tat stands out like Brail it’s elevated from going into deep with the needle … wonder why it hurt smh

went in with a group of friends at 6 pm for tattoos (booked in advance). me and one other friend were assigned to an apprentice. she spent 3 hours on my friend’s tattoo (a spider, no bigger than maybe 2.5 inches). she had already drawn out my tattoo, but when i walked over to get started she said she wasn’t gonna do it because she was tired. another artist who was walking out the door to go HOME had to step in and help. she had to redraw the stencil from scratch because the apprentice left before she could ask for the file. didn’t walk out of the parlor until 12:30 am.

I had this guy come in for 2 separate sessions. First apt he's telling me how every artists ghosts him, and that should've been my red flag. Not only didn't he tell me what we were doing was a MASSIVE cover up on his whole forearm, but he ONLY trauma dumped about women. Second session, I was bent over getting supplies & when I turned around I saw him dip from the window behind the wall, and walk in a few seconds later, as if I didn't just catch him watching. More degrading women talk the whole appointment. I decided to block because I was uncomfortable, and this man LOST IT. Spammed all my socials from 3 different accounts, sent friends to harass, left a Google review, everything.

The whole shop took bets with my ex-husband on who would tap out first, me or my artist. They tapped first. And that's the story of how an entire tattoo shop ended up paying for my back piece! 😁

my first tattoo was done in a friend's garage "shop" and it was so heavy handed that it is just a giant scar. and it doesn't even look like what it's supposed to.......

My (ex) friend had been doing machine free tattooing for about 15 years. She spent about four hours working on a piece on my sternum. When I got up to look in the mirror, it was completely lopsided. You could still see the perfectly even stencil that she had completely ignored. 😪

While I was getting my Back Thigh Tattooed my artist asked me to buy him some beer for payment instead. I bought 2 cases and we both drank during my tattoo… luckily he has a high tolerance and didn’t mess anything up but boy was I comfortable with not being able to feel the back of my knee being tattooed..😭😭

got my largest tattoo i’ve had that took about 2.5 hours (not much but it was a first for me) and when i was taking the saniderm off i had to sit down because i started to feel very faint even though i took the tattoo like a champ

When I was getting my shin done, I asked the artist to move the stencil over & he got defensive & said that it’s in the center of my shin & that it looks off because I broke my leg 6 years ago & my bone isn’t straight. I went ahead & got it, but now having it I feel like I should have argued back with him…or left.
