@iamathenavas: It will never be the “right time.” If you’ve been following my journey then you’ll know when I left NY, I swore I would never teach again and only work on pursuing my dreams and my passions. HOWEVER, I am one of very few people in California who are licensed and credentialed and have the patience to work with handicap children. Every now and then I am called to do a special assignment for schools to teach these students and I simply can’t say no. I see it as I am needed to perform this duty for a short period of time and I choose to do it to help a school and these students. Although it clashes with my short term goals, it aligns with my long term goals which is ultimately building schools and developing curriculum to better suit the needs of students all over the world. I’ll be doing a leg workout and stop midway to go in the corner of the gym with my laptop and teach a class. Many of my Golds family who know me will tell you stories about that. Yes, I have dreams to be a great filmmaker but I’m an educator first. I have a long life ahead of me with so many different goals and I won’t stop until every one of them is fulfilled. That’s a promise 🙏 But guess what? It’s summertime and class is no longer in session. You know what that means? IT’S GO TIME. The gym will be my new home, perfecting this body until it’s time for nationals. 🫶 I love all of you. Thank you for the continued support. ♾️
