we had those issues here. fines are now up to 5k, 3 month suspension, 12 demerit points, take a class and 1 year driving probation. plus first of the school year rcmp go out in droves as a reminder.

You would never see that in Canada. It’s the easiest way to lose your license. The fines and the demerit points you would get! As soon as that arm goes out, we stop on both sides. No questions asked

They start to put camera on our bus in Quebec so if a car pass whil the stop sign is lit the picture of the licence plate is took and sent to the police

So why don’t you call your transportation company or the school board and have the stop request requested to be moved due to safety? I live in Ontario Canada and deal with school buses every day. I’m rec coordinator dispatcher. I know what I’m talking

In Ontario a Car Almost Hit my Neighbours Child getting Off the Bus.. Entitlement is Real…School Buses Need to Stand Out n All have a Loud Specific Sound as Well as Specific Lights..Also Large Scenic Signs of Upcoming Pickup n Drop Offs in the Areas..Safety First..

It’s time at least for some roads that buses park slanted across Roads till kids are safe!! Only way to stop cars cause they can get past I feel
