No, I will disagree with this message till the day I die. First, you have to be aware of the way the relationship ended. If it’s toxic and unhealthy for either party, leave. You don’t need signs from God to know that. Secondly, if the relationship wasn’t the issue but it was more within the individuals, like past trauma’s like trust issues and insecurities or lack of communication and minimal want to compromise. Those can always be fixed, with separation or together. It takes a lot more work together than separate, but both people have to really want it. Don’t get it twisted, one party can want the other more and that’s okay! that doesn’t mean the love is dead, that means the other person needs more time to heal. They may be avoiding their emotions and they will use today’s hook-up culture for distractions. It will never last. A peace of advice I will give everyone. The way God loved us by forgiving no matter what we’ve done. There are millions on top of millions of sins we do everyday! And he forgives us with unconditional love. That is the love you have to be willing to give your significant other, to your own limits. If you have a non-negotiable’s and they are not worth looking past it, then they are not your person. Love conquers all, it just takes time to reach a point that nobody in this generation will understand. Heavenly love will choose forgiveness over resentment. Last point! Do not stay if you forget how to love yourself! If you have the strength to love yourself, while feeling that amount of pain to hold on and sit in Gods waiting room, then do it because a person who’s worth it doesn’t come everyday, so fight for love, fight your inner issues and grow into the person you were always meant to be. By crucifying the version of yourself, that made the one you love… choose to walk away. I love you all! God bless you
