Right before you access take a deep breath and hold it forces the port more to the surface and easier to hold, then aim for the center!

Sweet girl …. I’m a nurse and I will say this. It’s not always easy to access a port. AND, if you want numbing cream or you don’t want to access it, get the nurse. That’s why we’re here.
