ooookay. lets ACTUALLY sort this out. octane rating is based on YOUR engines compression ratio. higher compression requires higher octane fuel in order to prevent knock. in English, use what your manual tells you to.... and a ninja 400 is definitely a high compression machine.

e5 is what we use in england pretty sure its 98 and thats what i use in my 125 and only thing ive put in any of my vehicles

Ninja 400 doesn’t have a high performance engine like the bigger bikes such as 600 and larger this is why you do the cheap stuff in a ninja 400
