Cornwall is dying because people from London.are buying the houses as holiday homes, hiking up the housing market and causing a huge divide in wealth. Businesses can't survive the winters when they all go home. There are less schools, less jobs all because they need 2nd homes

Cornwall is a beautiful place, but it's too isolated, so you don't get any commuters and there's no careers. They have to rely on low income jobs based around seasonal tourism or hospitality jobs, making hard to attract and retain young people. The housing market is bust because of 2nd homes and Airbnbs.

I went to college for 2 years back in the mid 80’s and it was great. Sad how far it has declined. Cornwall benefitted massively from EU grants but Brexit put a stop to a planned £2.5billion investment
